Betty Fendel, a Thornton, CO resident, died August 2, 2008 at the Alpine Nursing Home in Thornton, CO.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the Christ The King Episcopal Church in Arvada, CO with Fr. Phillip LaBelle officiating. Pianist was Andi Smith and muscial selections were "Amazing Grace", "On Eagle's Wings", "Come to the Waters", and "Hymn of Praise".
She is survived by children: Burry (Jim)Bessee of Cheyenne Wells, CO, Rick (Katie) Fendel III of Arvada, CO, and Christopher Fendel of California, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-granchild, and 1 sister: Margaret Ann Jennings of Savanah, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 1 sister, her first husband, Eric and second husband F.A. Fendel, Jr.
She is the mother of Rev. Burry (Jim) Bessee who pastors the United Methodist Churches in Cheyenne Wells, CO and Kit Carson, CO.
