Darren Lee McDaniel was born on April 9th, 1967 to Dennis and Donna (Beeson) McDaniel at Eads, Colorado. During the next few years he became Big Brother to Dwight, Dean, Dawn(Becky) and Darlene. The family lived in the Eads, Cheyenne Wells, Hasty & Wiley areas most of his childhood. Darren graduated from high school in 1985. As he got older he worked for several local farmers in those same areas.

In October of 2003, Darren came to Burlington to reside in the Personal Care Program of Dynamic Dimensions. In November of 2004 he moved to a Group Home as a resident of DDI. Darren enjoyed the friendly, family like fellowship with the staff and fellow residents. Darren was liked by everyone he met. Darren enjoyed Western Movies and books and reading his Bible.

Darren passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 14, 2012.

Darren was preceeded in death by his mother Donna (Beeson)Lewis, his brother Dean Lewis, stepfather Don Lewis, grandmother Opal (Schaal)Beeson and grandparents Ronald and Beulah McDaniels.

Darren is survived by his father Dennis McDaniel, brother Dwight McDaniel, sisters Becky Lewis and Darlene Lewis. Grandparents Clark and Charlotte Beeson, 3 Nephews and 2 special Neices Tori and Savanah. Great Aunts Lila(Schaal)Taylor and Gladys (Gramm) Beeson. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.

Funeral services for Darren Lee McDaniel were held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Brown & Latimer Funeral Chapel in Burlington, CO with Pastor David Williams of the Burlington Christian Church officiating. Committal services were held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Eads Cemetery with Mr. Royce Walters officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Dynamic Dimensions in Burlington, CO.
