Ellen Christine Tagtmeyer Obituary
Ellen Christine Pittman Tagtmeyer was born on July 14, 1938 in Grassy Creek, North Carolina to Sam and Jessie McGee Pitman. When Ellen was 12, she and her family moved to Springfield, Colorado, she would spend the rest of her life in Colorado.
The things that Chris loved most in life were being a mother and homemaker. Chris also enjoyed gardening, raising a yard full of beautiful flowers and the largest vegetable garden in the country. Chris spent many hours canning and freezing foods every fall for her family to enjoy. Chris also earned a floral design degree and many couples, family and friends enjoyed her talents as a wedding designer. Chriss grandchildren brought a special joy to her heart, loving, laughing, playing and creating a lifetime of memories for them to remember.
Chriss love of the Lord was always with her. She knew that the greatest garden of all was waiting for her and she will now have countless pain free hours to continue her gardening. God has gained an angel that will make heaven lovelier than even He thought it could be.
