Eva Mary Kline was born on July 26, 1918 in Caddoa, Colorado to Fred H. and Kathyrina Boese Kline. Eva completed 9 years of education in the public school systems and then went on to become a CNA. Eva spent over 30 years working at the Weisbrod Memorial Hospital in Eads as a CNA, particularly in the baby delivery. Eva married Jerome Japhet and they had 7 children: Harry, Lois, Violetta, Cecil, Janet, Joetta and Ivan. After Jerome's death, Eva married Oscar Mosher, and following Oscar's death in 1998 Eva recently married Jake Pace of Lamar, CO. Eva was a special mother to her children and special grandmother to her grandchildren. Her home was always full of laughter and happiness.


Eva died unexpectedly on February 18, 2007 in Yuma, Arizona while visiting family there. She is survived by her husband: Jake Pace of Lamar, CO, her children: Harry Japhet of Eads, Lois (James) Powers of Pueblo West, CO, Violetta (Ronald) Anderson of Wiggins, CO, Cecil (Connie) Japhet of Keys, OK, Janet (Richard) McDaniel of Eads, CO, Joetta (Jacob) Wilson of Lamar, CO. 3 step children: Wally (Phyllis) Mosher of Colorado Springs, CO, Randy (Karen) Pace of Pueblo, CO and Kelly (Michelle) Pace of Brighton, CO as well as 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by her husbands Jerome Japhet and Oscar Mosher, 1 son, Ivan and 1 great grandson Johnny Smith.


Funeral service for Eva Mosher were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2007 at the First Christian Church in Eads, CO.
