Hazel Carrie Downs Obituary
Hazel Carrie Nevins Downs died on January 30, 2011 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 94. Hazel was a native of Brandon, CO and was preceded in death by her parents; Mary Anna Root and Harry Hunter Nevins; adopted parents Effie and Orville Mudge; husbands Eugene Hale and Ralph Downs and two sons Donald Gene Hale and Jesse Dean Hale.
Hazel is survived by her children Mildred Mulder, Delores (Phillip) Prickett, Kenneth (Marjorie) Hale and Carl (Marlene) Hale; daughter-in-law Georgianna Hale, 33 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren; one sister Lucille Sarah, one brother Harry Lynn Nevins and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday May 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Eads. Inurnment will follow at the Eads Cemetery.
