Isabelle Sheridan, 84

Isabelle Fern Sheridan, age 84, died on January 13, 2006 at Weisbrod Memorial Hospital in Eads, Colorado. Isabelle was born December 21, 1922, in Yuma, Colorado to William H. and Myrtle P. Barker.


She attended area schools, and later moved to Denver. In 1943, Isabelle married Teddy Albert Cameron. Her husband Teddy's untimely death in February 1947 forced Isabelle to return to Eastern Colorado where she met Lee Sheridan. They married on December 22, 1949.


Due to Lee's employment, the couple resided in Denver, Colorado; Clayton, New Mexico; Dumas, Texas, and finally to Eads in 1964. In later years, Isabelle was a business owner of Sheridan's Cafe, as well as a local cake decorator.


Sheridan is preceded in death by her husbands Teddy Albert Cameron and Lee Sheridan, parents William H. and Myrtle P. Barker, infant sister Myrtle Maxine Barker, brothers Billy Jr. and Hubert Barker, and grandson Michael Sheridan.


Isabelle is survived by her brother Bob (Delores) Barker of Wray, Colorado; sister Lila (Sy) Rears of Vancouver, Washington; children Ted Cameron and wife Becky of Ulysses, Kansas, Richard and wife Fannie Cameron of Dallas, Texas, Jerry Cameron and wife Donita of Pueblo West, Colorado, Mike Sheridan and wife Terry of Douglas, Wyoming, and Sonya and Gary Kiniston of Frisco, Colorado; 17 grandchildren: Danyelle, Casey, Abbey, Sabrina, Christina, Patrick, Ian, Sara, Wendy, Stuart, Dusty, Alisha, Ryan, Shelby, Brice, Amber and Heather, 23 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews cousins and other relatives also survive.


Funeral services were held at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Eads, Colorado on Friday January 19, 2007 with her granddaughter Christina Deeds officiating. Grandson-in-law Cory Crow and grandson Ryan Cameron provided the musical selection Stairway To Heaven. Serving as casket bearers were: Calvin Gaynor, Jeremy Gaynor, John Negley, John Rouse, Wes Eikner and Cory Crow. Final committal services were held at the Eads Cemetery in Eads.
