Graveside memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010 in the veteran's section of Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar, CO. It was the request of Mr. Williamson to be cremated. He is survived by his longtime companion Sandra Lee Ellison of Lamar, his 6 children Kyle Williamson of Lamar, Keema Williamson of Lamar, Stephanie Williamson of Lamar, Melissa Williamson of Denver, Nicole Turner of Lamar, and Lacy Turner of Kentucky. James also has several grandghildren surviving as well as his sister Evelyn Brainard of Kansas and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lamar Animal Shelter. Mr. Williamson died at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, CO.
