Joan Craig Obituary

Joan Victoria Racey Craig was born in San Francisco CA on March 22, 1932 and passed away in Brush, Colorado on November 27, 2014. She attended and graduated from Mission Catholic High School. While in school Joan said she was in the Choir and really enjoyed singing. After graduation she became a bookkeeper for several different companies, including a mechanic shop that she stayed with for many years. One day when she went to visit some friends. all the chairs were taken, so this guy named Leonard said she could sit on his lap. She said she was being sassy and said ok I will. From there he asked her out and the couple was married in 1966. They remained in the San Francisco area. She and Leonard shared a love for animals. They raised and sold dairy goats and goat milk, worked together on a turkey farm, and had several dogs. Later in life the couple both went to work for Wal Mart. She was a checker. When she retired the couple decided to move to Colorado. Leonard passed away in 2010, so her two dogs, Molly and Angel were her love.
