Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Eads. Burial will follow in the Eads Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lamar Area Hospice.
Mrs. Root died at her home in Lamar with her family by her side.
