Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eads Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Crow-Luther Cultural Events Center in Eads.


Linda B. Gardner, one of three children born to George D. and Shirley E. Howell Crow passed away from complications due to a long term illness in Lakewood, Colorado on May 15, 2011. Linda was born on February 15, 1939 in Eads, Colorado where she resided for over fifty years as an Eads High School Graduate as well as the owner-operator of Lindas Beauty Shop for many years. She was united in marriage to Russell Jack Gardner on November 27, 1959 in LaJunta, Colorado, of which this union was blessed with one daughter, Jacqueline.

Linda is survived by her daughter Jacqueline, by her three grandchildren Megan and Christopher Herren of Denver, CO; Nathan (Ronda) Weirich and two great grandchildren Sydney and Hunter Weirich of Plains, Kansas. Linda is also survived by her brother Charles Crow of Eads and by her sister Diana (Dale) Pierce of Delta, CO as well as by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents George D. and Shirley E. Crow, her grandparents Charles and Daisy Hester-Howell and George I. and Jennie Belle Luther Crow.
