Marjorie Conger passed away on June 28, 2013 at Good Samaritan Society - Loveland Village in Loveland, Colorado. She was 88 years old. Marge Irene Schmidt was born November 1, 1924 in Johnson County, Nebraska to Ralph and Nellie Schmidt. She moved with her parents to a farm near Kanarado, Kansas in 1928 where she attended a rural school through 8th grade. She then attended high school in Burlington, Colorado. She stayed in town with a family during the school year. It was at that time that she met the love of her life, Pete Conger. Marge graduated in the class of 1942. She worked at a drug store following her graduation. Pete and Marge were married October 1, 1943 in St. Francis, Kansas when Pete came home on leave from the army. He served in the army until December 1945. The have three daughters; Linda (Ken) Malm of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Nancy (James) Brown of Glenwood Springs, Colorado and Connie (Bob) Ogle of Sterling, Colorado. They have 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Marge loved her family, especially babies, doing crossword puzzles and following her husband, Pete on all his adventures of camping, fishing, motorcycling, and photography. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Burlington. She lived in Oak Creek, Colorado, Albin, Wyoming, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Burlington, Colorado and Stratton, Colorado before moving to Loveland for the last few years of her life.

Memorial contributions can be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in Burlington or Good Samaritan Society - Loveland Village in Loveland, Colorado.

Visitation will be one hour before the funeralservice.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 3rd at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Burlington, CO at 2:00 p.m.. Rev. Bill Viergutz will be officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Burlington.
