Randy Lynn Clark was born in Burlington, Colorado to H. Wayne and LaVila Fern Clark on September 14, 1960. He was escorted into paradise on June 8, 2026 after a 3-month battle with cancer.

Although he never married, Randy was quite the charmer with the ladies. He loved to flirt daily, with his girls at Starbucks when he picked up his black tea.  He is survived by his daughter Ruairi Sussman of Denver, Colorado, his mother LaVila Clark of Burlington, Colorado, his brother Lonnie Clark (Erika Clark) of Catoosa, Oklahoma, his sister Shelly Peterson (Randall Peterson) of Burlington, Colorado, his nieces and nephews including: Doug Clark (Genie Clark)(JT, Danielle and Cayden), Darla Clark-Holt (Trevon and Victoria (Grant)), Brent Carter (Synnika (Max),Ryker), Brooklyn Carter, Monika Figenser (Madison McCalley), Billy Wilson, Justin Peterson (Nicole Peterson)(Bandon), Gregory Peterson (Carson), Brianne Kechter (Toby Kechter) (JayLynn, Gabe, Skyler and Ella) and great-great nieces and nephews.

Randy is preceded in death, by his grandparents, his father H. Wayne Clark, his brother Danny Clark and his sister Bonnie Carraway.

Randy loved his family and paid close attention to his parents. He rarely missed his evening calls to check in with them and often drove from Denver to visit them in Burlington. He was very compassionate with all of those that he loved and was always available to help whenever he could. He enjoyed his life on his own terms and never remained in one place very long. He was a very private man who kept an intimate circle of friends who truly cared for him. Randy was a chip off the old block and in keeping with the tradition of the Clark men, he bought and sold anything and everything.

Early in the 1980’s he began his career at AIMS Community College in Greeley, Colorado where he earned all his pilot ratings and even taught classes when the professors were absent.  After AIMS, Randy and Lowell Thomas started Northern Colorado Aviation.  After selling out to Lowell, Randy became a commuter pilot with Trans Colorado Airlines and eventually moved to Sky West Airlines. For a short time, he worked for International Jet in Denver, Colorado flying leer jets. Throughout his aviation career, his peers viewed him as an outstanding pilot.  After leaving that industry he sold equipment in Denver for several years.  His current passion was buying and selling airplanes.  He also built and sold airplane hangars. If you pass by the Limon airport, you will see the only red hangar in the place, that is the last hangar Randy built and sold.

Randy’s compassion and infectious smile will be missed every day.  The impact he had on those who loved him will be felt forever. His way of greeting people was unique and always brought a smile. He always said, “Oh, Hi!”

“Oh, Hi Dad.” Were the last words he whispered before he was taken home.
