Stanley Dale Willis (63) died Friday May 30, 2014 at his home in Dexter, MO.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Bethel (Whipple) Willis, Wife JoAnn (Schulte) Willis, Infant son Terry, two Brothers Harold and Darren Willis also an infant Nephew Kelly Willis and his Uncle Roy Voorhees.
He is survived by his 6 children Ida Mae Weber, Philip Willis, William Willis, Leona Breakall, Marvin Willis a Step daughter Dorothy Garcia, 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, His brothers Arnold, Brian, and Tony Willis.
Stan enlisted to serve our country and was honorably discharged in 1977. He was a proud participant and supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, starting the Spring Camporee with Dean Wigton in Bethune Co. that continues in today.
He was proud to serve as a Deputy Sheriff for Kit Carson and Cheyenne Counties until his retirement for medical reasons.
He loved following his grandchildren and was actively involved in all their lives
He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Graveside Services will be held June 28, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Calvary Cemetery in Stratton
A Luncheon will be served at the Stratton Community Center following the graveside service.
The family has asked that any donations be sent to the Boy Scouts of America in care of High Plains District of Pikes Peak Council Boy Scouts of America 985 West Filmore, Colorado Springs Colorado 80907 please drop your donation off at the funeral home
